Easy to install

The most attractive thing is that they're simple to install, which means you can do it yourself in less than ten minutes. You'll need a screwdriver as well as some patience. The first step is to take off the original cover. It must be removed before the new cover can be fitted.
Once you have removed the old cover Use an flat-head screwdriver to take out the four major attachment clips located on the side that is on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are marked in red in the image below. Also, note the tabs for locating slots that are highlighted in yellow. They need to be disengaged as well.
After removing the battery, replace it with a brand new 3 volt coin cell battery. The "+" side of the battery should be facing the opening on the fob and the "-" side should face the rubber buttons.
Re-attach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the locating tabs. Once you've done this, put the driver-side fob back into the vehicle and test it. Press replacement fiat 500 key at the front of the key. If everything works correctly your car should start to turn on the parking lights and the doors will lock automatically.
